app question

ive got a load of data in text files.

i want to strip out all the email addresses.

I could sit the for ages and cut and paste them from one doc to another, but im feeling lazy and dont really want to.

is there a php app anywhere that will do this?

or can someone offer up a little snippet of code that will help.

any help much appreciated as my poor old little mince pies, are aching!
