Scenario:
Using a single variable to store an entire email message (maybe 50 lines of text).
Use $fd = popen("/usr/sbin/sendmail -t", "w");
to send the email (the $var is used as $body).
However, when the email arrives there appear to be added !'s randomly throughout the email!! (I've echo'ed out the var after sending the email and it looks fine - so what's being sent to sendmail is ok).
Example:
This is how it should look
This! is how it actually loo! ks in email
Any ideas?? This has got to be the weirdest thing I've seen with sendmail... is it possible that the var I'm passing is just too much info? (hard to believe but I suppose possible).
Thanks for any help you can provide!
Jon
