Downloading Raw Text Snippets (Linux)

When attempting to download ANY snippets from the code library I get only a window painted with 'data'. ie no prompt to save,etc.

I've got a linux OS
I've got Mozilla 5, NS 4.x, or Konqueror
I've got no new ideas about what to do w/this (raw text) download

Is it a JavaScript thing?
Is it a conspiacy?

Is there a solution? - thanks

Correct me if I am wrong but I think everyones browser gets this... Just go up and save as in your browser frame.

The script IS downloaded. All of it in all it's binary glory. (I especially like the British pound sign and the black diamonds with the little '?' inside 🙂

Next: rightclick/save as...

Next: popup w/convenient(?) name of 'download.php'

Hmmm Didn't look much like raw text PHatechP to me

meanwile I've already guessed .zip just in case but that's not recognized by 3 of my popular uncompress utils.

Any more guesses folks?

Ahhhh I see your problem now..... Someone didnt send headers to say to download the file and not view it. (Shame on you... your already in hot water with the Coding Forum problem). Ok a little trick that goes all the way back to Netscape. Hold the shift key and then Click. This will force mozzilla to download it. I would save it as either a zip file (1st try) if that doesnt work mabye a tar.gz or something. You could alsways just dload it strait and have linux tell you what it is.

blah$ file NameOfFile
