Anyone care to help me get my site running on PHP backed by a MySQL database? 😃 All the info is on the news posts: http://www.pcgnews.com/ . I'm getting tons of "when's the site coming back" emails from readers. Apparently most of them don't understand how time consuming updating (mostly) manually was. But they at least like how to new design is looking. 😉 I've decided to get some help to speed things up. I'd like [either]: some tips/pointer -- a guy to help me with the programming -- all the way up to some one to be the site's "programmer". I'm honestly not expecting any of you guys to help out, (that much, anyway 😉) because for one I'm not guaranteeing any money (you know how the Internet is, the point of the site is not money, but just the enjoyment of running a successful web site) and second, It could be quite a bit of work. But hey, I'll give it a shot and ask! I figure this is as good a place as any to post this "help wanted ad", as its seems most of you guys know your way around the computer... 🙂

I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to setup the news script. I'm thinking something simple like the setup at www.demonews.com . And I'm not entirely sure how the review/preview, etc. submission system should work, but I have a few ideas. If your at all interested in participating with growing site, please reply and I can give you more info.

Cool, I'm mainly looking someone to be the "site programmer". I've gotten only a few people who may be interested in the position. I need someone who is quite experienced with PHP/MySQL. I'm not sure what you mean by "I know a bit of PHP and MYSQL" (lol, even I know "a bit" 😉). Do you have a site programmed with PHP/MySQL so I could see your skills? 😉 (I don't want to give anyone access to the sites files, unless I'm sure they are right for the job. Hope you understand)
