which linux version is the best?

I saw so many versions...

I wanna use apache on linux... with php and mysql, so what do you think is the most suitable one?

There is no 'best' version, they all have their pro's and con's.

Personally I prefer Redhat, but Mandrake, Slackware and Suse are also quite good.

Some people say that Mandrake is easiest to install, but personally I find that a very bad argument. Windows is very easy to install, but once installed, it is very hard to make it work properly.

If you just want to run apache, then I don't think you'll have much trouble with any Linux distribution.
