Is This the right forum

To recieve basic help in MySql?
I downloaded MySql 3.5 and started to learn it from a book.
I have to deal with very basic problems like how to work in a Win98 stand alone station or how to install the package on both-server+client. What kind of servers can i use? can a win98 platform be used as a server for MySql?
If this is not the right forum for such questions, can anybody tell me where to find an appropriate forum?

Well it is the right place, maybe you'll do better asking in database talk or windows help. Win98 is not really a got platform to run mysql since it is not stable. It's ok for testing, but then when you move your site to a real OS you might find some problems with path names and file names.
