Delete element from middle of array

I would like to know if there's an easy way of deleting/popping an element from the middle of an array. The pop function looked favourable but it seems it can only be used on the last element in the array. BTY, the array I'm working with is a multi-dimensional array, if that makes any odds. Any help would be much appreciated , Simon Hubbard.

I think array_splice is what you are looking for....

Hi!

Just use unset(). It won't return the element as array_pop(), but it will let you do what you need. The syntax is:
unset($array['elemkey']);
