PHPDEV problem.. help

I use phpdev from firepage.au

everything looks fine when i click a test page..

but I cannot run PHP SCRIPT

I try to write easy code like

<?php
Print ("hello);
?>

the out put on my windows look likes

); or >;

I'm not sure

are there any other tools that allow me to start server to test my php script please ?

please help me
I try to contact phpdev's developer but he doesn't reply me..
