How to write SMS in php

1)What is the condition of creating the SMS in php?
2)Does i need any server like SMS server?

that depends on some things:

here in austria you can send sms to customers of our 3 mobile providers through email ([e-mail]). but if you wand send strict sms you need a sms gateway, mostly written in perl or c++. or you look for sms gateway providers but the costs of one sms is about 30 cent per sms, so you should calculate if you are willing to pay for others sms.

There are countless others too, the above list was from less than 2mins searching.

So, Halim, you might actually want to do at least a microscopic amount of work before posting utter crap to the forum.

i've done downloading the sw-sdk-php-linux-x86-3.0.0.tar.gz in www.simplewire.com, but is that the script that can start with sms?

Simply add the extension to your PHP installation, restart your webserver, sign up for a developer account, modify the script to reflect your developer account details, then send an SMS to your developers account phone number. It will appear on your 'virtual phone'

If you want to send SMS messages to 'real' phones, you need to sign up and purchase the starter package, and some 'Message Credits', but the setup procedure is the same.

The package only provide 60 days of evaluation, at last we also need to purchase that package, right? How about the SMS Server? Any idea?

If you actually want to send the SMS to the phone yourself, you'll need SMSC hardware connected to the server - I think it's more than a bit complex.

The simplewire setup will cost you $300USD + $57USD per 1000 credits and $50USD per support incident, or $400USD for the kit. This is probably pretty cheap compared with you'd spend in hardware setting up your own.

Most mobile companies charge to receive messages from other networks, so don't think setting up your own hardware will get you free SMS. (The reason they started charging each other was to (successfully) kill off all of the free services on the web, which can't receive and therefore couldn't charge, so had to quit as banners didn't cover the costs).

Kyboshed, Can u please refer me some informational site as 2 where i can get the SMSC Hardware. Also what software can b used & usefull tools. However, all these details i'm searching should be for windows 2000 based server 😉
