Emails won't work in the afternoons (!)

Here's a weird one.

I'm using the delphi component

TNMSNTP

to send emails from one of my applications

In the mornings it works fine, in the afternoon it either doesn't connect,
says the administrator doesn't accept the emails or some similar message.

Then, next morning, fine again.

I realize this isn't a 'PHP' problem (but neither is it a Delphi one), but does anyone have any ideas?

We have the problem on three different service providers and on an ordinary
phone line and on an ISDN line in two separate locations (!)
