Multiple values for session variables

Who could explain how we can get two different values for the same variable session when having an Internet connection via proxies?

Sometimes, a second count might interfere and (some clicks later) come back to the 1st one and back to the second one ...etc...

Any idea?

I dont see the problem. It held up fine on my win98, roadrunner, I.E.6 I dont see the problem.
