A good mail server

Hey guys!
I've been looking for a good free mail server but I have found tons of then, and I am a little lost on which server to pick...Could anyone indicate a good free mail server for me? (I'm using APACHE on my machine)

plesk.com
qmail sendmail very good

are you using nt or nix?
if nix use sendmail
for nt, I have no idea of freeware

unix go unix turn your box into redhat very easy you'll love the reliability. plesk redhat 7.1 or 2 very stable secure everything you need.
