Hello!
This might be a little off the subject of PHP, but, I'm writing an application in PHP, and if I could get this working, it would be very useful.
I have a huge list of items I need to put in a pulldown menu (<select>). They are already organized into group, in the database, so it would be easier on the user, if they could click the pulldown level, get a list of groups, pull down the the group, and then have it expand out with all the items in that group, which they could then choose from. Note, that this does not have to be dynamically, i can pre-load all the groups, and every item that is in the groups.
I have seen several javascript ideas, where they have 2 separate pulldown menus, and the second one changes, based off the selection in the first. While this is useful, I'm really looking for more. I have limited page real-estage, so a catagorized pulldown menu would be ideal.
Any ideas? Anyone?
