Help???

Hi Guys,
Can anyone tell me the best way to go about this? I'm creating a website for music groups. On the Bands HTML page i have a list of bands. What i want to do is have it so that when the user clicks on a band from the list it brings up a pic, bio, and album title from a MySQL database (obviously this will be generated from a PHP script). How would i go about creating this? I'm thinking that i will need some sought of template. What would be the most efficent way of diplaying the differnet bands info from the HTML page?

That's fairly basic PHP stuff if I read you right.

Have you got the list of bands running yet?

(typed by hand - errors and omissions excepted... 🙂
bandlist.php:

Hi Matt,
I'm desperate for your help and i need this done ASAP. How do i go about this step by step. I have a database, in this there are 4 tables:

"band":
band_id (auto increment)
genre (relationship)
profile
picture
pic_thumb

"profile":
profile_ID
band_id (relationship)
members
pics
biography

"genre":
genre_id
genre

"album":
album_id
band_id
genre_id
track_title
Possibly track details...
pic_f
pic_b
shopping_cart_link

Now, what i want to do is have a page that lists the bands in the database. These will be links that will, when clicked, display the contents from the band table in the database. I would need the contents from the table to look the same for each band.

With the Album page, i would need it to be the same as the bands page except it will display the contents from the album table. If they have more than one album these will also need to be displayed.

If you have the time, can you get me started on this....i'm desperate.
