Access with Excel

Question:

Does anyone know if there is a method for opening Excel Spreadsheets on top of an Access data base spreadsheet? ei. I was desperately trying to create -click buttons- that would act like Hyper-links -to pop-up- my Excel Spreadsheets. If anyone could provide me with any information on this topic, I'll be forever grateful!

As long as the web server is configured to pass the correct headers for the file type, you can create a link directly to the Excel file and any client that has the *.xls extension mapped to MS Excel (or another spreadsheet program that understands the format) will open it.
