'\' character problem, Very Urgent.

Hai,

Whenever i input '\' from html and submit it to php(4.0.1) page, single slash in php is getting encoded to '\' slashes. i want to control this encoding from php.

Please tell how to go about.

Use stripslashes($string) for Filtering the slaseh with quotes
htmlentity($string) to replace with html charcters
htmlspecialchars($string) same as defined at top.
