HTML Frames and PHP

Hi,

I don't believe this matters but I am writing a network management module (from Hotscripts.com) and I am trying to have a PHP script in one frame with input fields, that output the information into another frame (main)

Example, Ping script. In left frame there is a field for IP address, and I want the ping results to output to the main frame (forgive the pun).

I would be thankful for any help

set the target of the form to the name of the main frame.

ie:
<FORM ACTION="ping.php" TARGET="main">
<INPUT TYPE="TEXT" NAME="IP_ADDR">
<INPUT TYPE="SUBMIT" NAME="SUBMIT" VALUE="Ping">
</FORM>
