URGENT HELP - Passing Variables

Hi, i have a demo to do tomorrow and struggling to complete.

Question for ya.

Then it takes you to a table, which selects all the details that matches the

User from the Login table

the User column on the table.

So login as

Adam Bell.

then it gets all Adam Bell's details and everything that Adam Bell has added!!!

Then there is an Add.php

which i have to enter the details

name

and so on

but i want the Name to be already filled with the User who logs on, but i try

the obvious

$sql = "SELECT * FROM jtrs_user WHERE User='$username'";

but it says the varible can be found.

ANY HELP PLEASE.

ASAP (sorry for sounding cheeky!!)

all you do is think php good janey is a master and put ur user name and login in and it works

Username is declared as a variable, as it passes it from page to page, except this one! Any ideas?

How do you log on? using .htaccess or a custom PHP solution?
