JavaScript:Print() Function

Does anyone know how I can call a print job from javascript? -- I know it sounds stupid when you have a print button on the browser, (tried to tell my boss that) but can anyone tell me? Thanks.

will launches the print dialog box

try this:

(I inserted self.location.reload() because internet explorer 6 displayed an error when a visitor clicked twice on the button. if the page reloads, however, then the print function will work every time. No problems with netscape)
