image manipulation with PHP

With Visual Basic, there is a way to take a single image, and use part of it, this way u only need to load this image, and everything is "cut" from it.

The idea is to make a templet, that people can take and edit to make custimized graphics.

The they would then upload back up with PHP to my server to use.

This would be better for them, then redoing 20 - 30 little small ones.

well using the GD graphics libraries, you could do that fairly easily I think....

There are commands to make images from a file, in this case you could just chop off bits of the file if you knew the pixel dimensions of each section, and print those as images to the user.
