Installing, Configuring PHP, SQL, IIS

I have just made the move to PHP and although my scripts work and I am finding the language intuative, I am having a nightmare setting up my own test system at home. I have copies of PHP, MySQL, Apache and IIS but no idea how to set them up. Is there a site or any information that will explain exactly how to get from a standard Win2000 machine to a PHP+MySQL Site testbed? If any one has any idea that would be great. Cheers.

I recently discovered PHPTriad (get it at download.com), which is an automatic installer for apache, mysql (including phpMyAdmin) and php 4 on your system.

for me, it worked instantly with the default settings - even under windows ME (which lacks the ms personal web server). I can recommend it.

once installed, start mysql, then start apache, and you can access your local scripts via http://localhost .

should work under win2k, too, but check the notes in download.com.

You can read the document from www.php.net or 'install.txt' from the php windows binary file. Or you can try to install 'PHPTrail', it will setup PHP+MySQL+Apache for you automatically.
