Browser not refreshin

Hi there

I am wondering if anyone can help me out

I am running Windows XP Professional with IIS, php4, and MySQL.

After a bit of time i try to update the files and have a look in the browser however when i push refresh it either comes up with the old files before the changes (i am saving to file in notepad each time) or it comes up with that it cannot display the page. The only way to solve this problem at the moment is to reset the computer and it comes right again for a hour or so.,

Even if i push enter on the URL path it still doesn't load and usign ctrl and refresh doesn't work also

I am trying to load it with Internet Explorer

its most likely a cookie issue then.

please dont take this as a condescension but when you say it "cannot display the page" what error type is it?

is it a 404, 500, these are things as a web dev you have to know, and have to remit to groups when posting a problem.

Im going to assume you mean you are making on the fly updates to scripts, and testing on localhost, right?

If so, do they involve sessions/cookies at all?

it isn't a 404 error, i think that it is a 500 hundred error, although i am not sure, i am trying to get it to do i t, i can't though, however it still isn't loadig.

I am not using sessions or cookies when trying to do this at thius stage

i am doing them on the fly and testing on a localhost
