docbook quickstart

Can somebody list/point me to the minimum needed tags and a stylesheet (dsssl?) to make basic documentation (for software).

Also, any editors that handle the docbooks tags for you?

I use textpad macros to transform my XML docbooks. Get the docbook xsl from sourceforge as well as a dtd for it.

Get XT to do the transformation.

To run a transformation try:
C:\docbook\bin\xt.exe $File C:\docbook\htmlhelp\xthtmlhelp.xsl

replacing file, of course.

I found a lot of howto's on this. Try searching more and you should be able to figure it out.
