Including files which include files

Ok, kids, wrap your noodle around this one:

I have a situation where I'm in some directory writing code for a much larger project which I don't (necessarily) control. Yet, I need to include some files from other directories. These other directories themselves include files, which of course is a problem, since the current dir is my dir and not the dir of the included file. Hense, it can't find the other inclusions.

Is there a solution? Do I have to set the include_path, and if so, is there like an .htaccess way to do that?

you can set the include path in your scripts.

ini_set ('include_path','/path/to/includes:/path/to/other/includes:and so on...');
