okay, you can answer this one with one word, In HTML, for text areas, I know there's wrap="soft" wrap="virtual" but is there one that will make NO wordwrap? like wrap="no"

The defautl setting should already be wrap=off
Note that the attribute "wrap" is deprecated and you should not use it (if you want proper HTML so to say, if you don´t care then by all means use it :-)
