rand()

I had this code below working fine on my local server but when uploaded to another server on the net i am getting the error at the bottom..

anyone knows why?? please help, thnaks in advance.

$row = rand(0, $rows - 1);

rand(): Invalid range: 0..0 in /hot/prep.php on line 103

Looks like it's giving you an error when $rows == 1 because rand(0,0) doesn't work.

Try this:

if ($rows > 1)
{
$row = rand(0, $rows - 1);
}
else
{
$row = 0;
}
