My website is on a host that dissallowed crontabs and ping, but i want to ping another server on a certian port (27015)(ftp port is also forwarded to that server, so it would work, too).
Is there any way to do this? w/ very limited control over config files.
I tried having my website server ftp the other one, but i didnt have control over how long it took to time out, so it was worthless.
