Directory problem!

Can i change the owner of a directory liek nobody is the owner now but it need to be upload.
Every time my mkdir script makes a new directory i've to logon to the shell and do chown upload.upload dir

I wanted to know if there is away that php can change that automatically

1: Why are you letting PHP create directories (bad for security)
2: Why do you need t change the owner of a directory? when you do, PHP will not be able to access it anymore, so what's the point?
