Where do I get my clients to log into their site so they can edit their contents?.

Calm down. 2. Breath 3. Learn PHP! That is the only way you will get out of this "mess" you will most likely need to create some scripts or some coding to get your clients to log-in and control their stuff. I don't exactly know what your trying to do but from my understanding you simply want clients to log in and control their files right? Well that program might just install PHP,MySQL,and Apache but your going to need to actually create something. Sorry to say, but thats just the rules of the game around here. We are more than happy to help you out in anyway possible. But you will first need to go do some background work to see exactly what your problems are with the coding and then give up some coding to get help with it. This fourm you will find people nicer than your own grandma but you will first need to give us some info so we can help you better. You will need to study up on if statements, pulling info out of db's, and make sure SSL is installed and there. PHP is nothing like SSH. You just cannot create an account and say where its located and people be able to control it. That's well...just not going to happen. If you want a total PHP frontend then you will need to code. Maybe your program will be able to do something like that but I am a good old fashioned programmer. I like to code my own stuff so when it breaks I know what I did wrong and learn from it. So just some piece of mind. Like I said I didn't write this with the intention of hurting your feelings. I am sorry if I did....

it sounds like you are in a rush to do something related to client logon. What you have downloaded is a good start...but like ziggs said, you need to write/find some code.

What you have right now is the equivalent of a program like word...yes it is used to create documents, but it sure isn't going to do it for you. If you have some time read this site (kudos to all phpbuilder staff and contrib) and you are guaranteed to pick all the info you need. If you are in a rush you can try downloading some prebuilt scripts, but I warn you that they might just make you more frustrated. Another option would be to browse this site once again and find someone willing to work with you out of the goodness of his/her heart...or for some pizza money.
