I have a news management script on my site and I was wondering how I would go about scanning a post to see if it was longer than 2 paragraphs (contained 2 line breaks "<br >< br>") and then cut off the remaining text while adding a "read more" link.
I've been trying to use the ereg command to scan the post for at least 4 "<br >"'s but i wasn't successful. I have no idea how I'd chop off the remaining text if at least 4 <br >'s were found, etc. blah 🙁
