search engines and include files

I'm very ignorant about how search engines work, So would a kindly person please answer this question: can search engines index pages that are almost entirely conposed of include files? For all the pages on my site I want to be able to put all the header information, the navigation menu, some repeated page content and graphics into separate include files so that I can save on typing, etc., but I'm worried that the search engines may bypass all this.

Any ideas?

This is a good question... I am curious too...

If I am not mistaken, I think that the search engine would execute the PHP as if it actually visited the page... but I am not sure...

From my understanding is that Search Engines simply just look at all your linked pages. It will go through all the pages that you have on your index and take all the possibilities of it. So yea if you have an .inc taking the show then don't worry bout it. It will read out create the page and then the search engine will log it. Thats my understanding.
