Ok this may be a real bad question but.... I am building a website and have bought a shopping cart system through my isp. After downloading the files to adjust to my site i cannot open them? I tried to open them with explorer but that was a mistake....now they all won't open? What can i do? I have a bunch of files that i can't open or do anything with. I am using Dreamweaver as my ftp and hmtl editor. Hope someone can help me. Thanks in advance Andrew
open notepad, select : file/open , and find your file.
your computer has never seen php files before so it doesn't know what program to open it with.
i think even in dreamweaver you might be able to choose file-open and find your file.
good luck, -mike
Like mike pointed out, php are ascii text files. Any text editor will open them.
Out of curiosity, what is the name of the shopping cart? or who is it by?
Thanks in advance, Richard
