Adding a line break

fwrite ($fp, $image);

how would I add a line break so that the
next time this function runs it puts the
code on the next line down?

I assume you mean a newline character, also sometimes referred to as a carraige return or line feed. In general in php this is done with a "\n". So I would assume that by changing:

fwrite ($fp, $image);

to:

fwrite ($fp, $image."\n");

you would get the result you want? But maybe someone else could confirm that?

You might also consider using \r\n as some OS's don't recognise \n, on it's own, as a newline.
