Form help...

HI all.
Right not sure how to do this, but here is wat i need help with.

MY website is going to be an online game. It uses forms to do basicly everything.

On my chat room, the form submits to a page: chatact.php?query=/chat.php&
and when it is done it forwards to wat ever is at $query, but, when u hit the back button it submits everything again cus is goes back to chatact.php?query=/chat.php&
What I need is a way to remove "chatact.php?query=/chat.php&" from the back button. I had a script that did it in java but i lost it ages ago 🙁

Lose the in between page and put the functionality into the first page. When you submit it calls the current page it is on, does the functionality and then redirects.
