Strange problem

With a mssql_fetch_object I'm getting the contents of a table from a MS SQL Server.

When I place the contents of a field on a page, the text ends after 256 characters, even if there are 500 characters in the field.

Any suggestions how I can resolve this problem?

Found it... some guy made a VARCHAR(8000) field in MS SQL Server. I changed it to TEXT and that fixed the problem.
VARCHAR has a max of 255 characters in PHP and MySQL.
