Hi,

I was involved in a project for a "Trash free" search script called "no blindlinks" see http://www.noblindlinks.com

The project was to create a search directory where badlinks/deadlinks/offensive links etc can be reported by the surfer at the click of an icon. All automated.

$6000 later, the script was created, the script is up for all to see, be we no longer have time to take the project further due to the success of http://www.ebookdata.com

Has anybody any ideas on what we should do with the noblindlinks.com code and website? I am not a programmer, just a webmaster.

Both of those sites are fairly successful selling domains..

One requires that you point the domain to their server.. the other does not.

I have used surplusatdiscount.com to auction off domains in the past with great success.. however it has been awhile since I have used their site so I make no garauntees 😉

Sure your site isn't one big blind/dead link?

And from what you've described, your app isn't worthy of more than a free download at a public script archive.

Sorry, but that functionality is done by everyone anyway (Like every free porn gallery post site in the universe), hardly a unique idea and something that can be created within a day.
I mean how hard is it to make an app to
update/delete a database record based upon a link or my webspider reporting a 404 on the request?

Not very hard at all.
So get over it and either toss it or hand it over to some newbie coder who might be interested in maintaining such a basic application.
