Does anyone know what .adp is? Compuserve uses it and was wondering what it is. Is it a programming language or is it just something that is made up? Thanks!

Probably something that is made up.

You can addType whatever extension you want to make your site seem cool.

Plus it's a cheap security measure, if used in conjunction with silent servers (turning off expose_php in the php.ini file)

yea it looks that way. Though I think they are on ASP. Its COMPUSERVE and it is owned by AOL and AOL is basically owned by Microsoft. I am guessing your probally right Van. Van you post a lot of stuff up here. 🙂 Where do you work? Or do you? 🙂 I am just playing.

Haven't had a day off since December since I got greedy and took on 4 cliens at once in November and I have yet another site start as soon as I wrap this one up.

Shieet dog you really wrapped that one up. If you need any help (though I suck...according to you) I would be more than happy to work with ya. I love to learn and love to code. I own all my code also and keep all the rights. That is just simply how I roll with any client. I too am a freelancer though most my work isn't done anymore. I am still in HS. It will pick up this summer. It always does! 🙂 Hey if you have AIM hit me up sometime. I love to talk with people that know more than me. So I talk to a lot of people! haha. AIM == Chads2k2.

I never said you suck.

But, I'm only taking on people here in the Bay Area so I can work directly with them if need be. Though I'm not taking anyone on for the custom client project, since that is a pretty easy one and I'd like to keep that underwraps as far as source code goes untill I'm ready for phase 2, which is the custom client + custom multiuser server.

But by that time, I'll be looking into transitioning out of PHP and into actual C platforms like Mono/One or even .Net.
