We as Gelecek Incorporation are very proud, as well as excited, to announce that we have developed an application which converts user defined PHP functions to executable and distrubutable PHP extentions. The need for hiding PHP sources has motivated us to find a way to create compiled PHP applications. There are some known ways to compile PHP to binary format, but they are not budgetly tolarable with many clients. Our new and inovative way will give PHP developers a chance to create PHP applications without revealing their source codes.
What MFG provides
Experienced PHP programers create their PHP applications using functional programming techniques or object oriented programming. MFG, basically converts any user defined Php function to a valid Php extension. This Php functions are typically created by "function function_name()" statement and can contain any valid Php functions.
Why MFG Php is released as 'demo'
We are currently contacting with core developers of Php and Zend, discussing legal license issues. Until we find out details in legal issues, this demo will prove that our inovative way allows people to compile their user functions to PHP extensions. Demo file contains a basic PHP function in both formats, a Php function and a statically compiled PHP binary.
