php 4.2 + apache 2

Does anyone use PHP 4.2 + Apache 2 (under winows?)? Is it stable?

Not currently. Apache seems to segfault on startup. The PHP-DEV team I believe is still working on this. They have built some support for it but are holding it back until it becomes more stable. In its defense I have heard of 1 guy getting it to work (dont think under windows), but it was still pretty shaky.

I have PHP 4.2.0 running as a module on Apache 2.0.35 along w/MySQL 3.23.49 on a Windows 2000 dev system.

I followed this link from a post by: Ron Birrell I found yesterday. It helped me setup the experimental PHP module for Apache. Everything runs well with some tweaking of the php.ini and httpd.conf files to remove previous setup to run PHP as CGI.
