My father said if you don't ask dumb questions, you remain dumb, so here goes - I have several .fla files and want to convert them to Flash movies (.swf). How does one go about that?
...but if you ask your questions in the wrong forums, you'll never get an answer :-)
this is a php programming forum, we know zero about converting filetypes.
Although this is not the right forum to ask that, as Vicent said... You need to use the Flash application to publish that .fla and make the .swf.

you go to file to export movie...thats how you create the .swf file..
Yea noob is right on. You go to PUBLISH and as long as its saved it should create a HTML page, and a .swf. You can also do a Publish Settings and get a whole lot more options of what you can do. Depending on the version.
