I try to make a multiple selection (exactly 3) within a form... The problem is that I need that the second input-select updates in the same form depending on what I select from the first input-select. And the third input-select updates depending on what I select from the second input-select.... For example in the first input-select I have "Country", in the second I have "State" and in the third I have "City"; When I select for example in the "Country" :U.S.A, the second input-select has to updates with all the states in the U.S.A.; and when I select (for example) Texas in the "State" select, the "City" has to updates with all the cities in the Texas... And all this selection have to take action in a single form(on a single html-page)... I know that this problem is resolving somehow with JavaScript but I don't know how... If you can help please do it... I will be very very grateful.
that is going to be one honking huge page.. probably... too big and slow for any body not on a T1 (don't know even if T1 would be able to handle it)
you'd have to store every single country, state, and city in javascript arrays
agree with nola...gonna be big big big...even IBM does this by submitting one at a time to build the info...best just to drop down country....only 250 peices of data verses thousands and thousands if you include the other stuff...
don't do it, dude
