SMTP with APACHE?

Hey. I am wondering can Apache have a SMTP? Like can I run my own E-Mail from my site. I know it can happen I just need to know how. 🙂 I am on a public DNS (if it matters) and I have my own Linux (Slackware) box. Apache, PHP, and MySQL are installed and all works well. Do I have to change the php.ini file? If so where? Or am I just a complete idiot? If you can help please do. Thanks!

in your php ini file you have to change like 3 or 4 things to change like the defaultt address to send mail from the server port etc. (maybe not port) iis is better though :-P the part where yu change it is down towards the buttom of the ini file. good luck
