if i create a new dir, can i limited the size of the dir...? like i create a dir call "new", can i make it only can store 3MB of disk space? if the dir has total space of 2.9MB, so i can't put 1MB size of file into the dir...
You could probably use quotas. The only problem with quotas, is that your OS has to constantly calculate disk usage (processor intensive), thereby significantly increasing overhead and decreasing performance.
