Encrypt data in windows environment

Hi,

I would like to encrypt some user input and then decrypt it. I have been looking at the php.net and phpbuilder.com web sites about the hints. But unfortunately I am using windows 2000 (not Unix). Does anyone do the same thing in windows? I have no clue on how to include the needed library and how to compile the php using this library.

Any suggestiongs would be really appreciated. Thanks!

I find that I can also use base64_encrypt() and base64_decrypt() to do it also.
