Dumping HTML output to a file

Hi,
for a newsletter system, I want to dump a "processed" HTML/PHP page (I mean the PHP- statements inside the HTML have been executed and have written some HTML code) to a file. I can only use the Apache PHP extension (on a Win2K server)... can anybody give me a hint how to do this?

hi,
suppose that you want to take teh content of
http://www.host.com/a_page.php?param_1=val_1
all you have to do is to make a fopen()
something like:
$f_d = fopen('http://www.host.com/a_page.php?param_1=val_1', 'r);
while (!feof($f_d))
{
$line = fgets($f_d, 2048); // read max 2K
// write line into a file
};
fclose($f_d);

Use the output buffer and file function of PHP:

http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.filesystem.php

1) open an output buffer (ypu can open more than one)
2) write /process the PHP to the browser (it won't appear because it's being buffered)
3) grab the contents of the buffer into a variable.
4) save the contents of the variable to a file
5) Close the buffer
