Check boxes

Hi, i'm creating a manual request form.

Two pages 1, html page with 28 checkboxes and their names.

ie

<td>Stocktaking</td>
<td><input type="checkbox" name="stock"></td>

Then it goes to the php page and says i requested stock.

But if i click them all, no errors produce. but if i leave one or more unclicked, it says it cant find the variable.

How would i get around this so it just leaves the document blank.

on your php page.

for($i=0;$i<count($stock);$i++)
{
echo $stock[$i]; //gimme value of stock
}
