Yeah I was thinking about security and using php. Is there a tool out there that somebody can use to see your scripts. I've got some of data that I don't want people to view in my php code and I never really thought about it but is it possible for some one to view it that's a client?

Yes it is possible. your code can be opened with another script. Your code is opened just like any other file and can be viewed by clients. PHP cannot however be downloaded as all that will be downloaded is the HTML output of the PHP script.

Assume all the files on the server can be viewed. If you need security, do some research and learn how to secure a web site and database.

I am also afraid someone might take my php scripts code, But I don't understand how it works. How do you do it? I dont want to take anyones php scripting, just need a better understanding in how it works, Plus I had an idea to use the script with my website. (Not to view others php scripting)
