PHP like JSP..?

Hello from India

I am early 3 yr developer worked on J2EE,ColdFusion and now trying to explore PHP unleased.I think this language is fantastic.Comming from Java backgrounnd and having developed sites using OO methodology.I am aware of separation of presentaion logic from business logic.We make mehtod calls from JSP's to Javabeans.
I am aware PHP4 now provides rich featurtes like foreach,class,objects and manymore.

Can anyone tell me the following things. 1.Where do we keep these classes.
2.Do these classes reside as .PHP files
3.Can we create instances of these object in our presentation front-end PHP files and invoke method calls/function calls ?
4.Can we make static call to these function /methods ?

These were a few of them...if all of these are possible then ..I think its a great journey ahead for all PHP programmer and for me toooo.As I am used to the spearation logic methodology.

I not understand the 4'th point,but the others are all implemented in PHP.
Classes ca be stored anywhere you want on your drive.You can include them with a relative ,or fixed path.You can also store more classes in a one file.

It's a great Language and surely must productive then java.

unlike java, php does not have a 'library' per se, of classes, that you can import.

you can, however, write your own classes, or find appropriate ones on the web, and invoke them via the 'extends' param..
