Communicate bet. WinNT and RedHatLinux

hi all

i would like access the database which is on Red Hat Linux6.2 server through a Visual Basic application which is running on Windows NT 4.0 both are different machines. haow to do that?

you will have to download and install the MyODBC drivers on the client where the VB app is going to run. After you install it, you can set up the DSN and give the IP address of the RedHat Linux machine. then access the database as usual from VB thru DSN
