permission problem

I want my PHP file to wite to a txt file, but what i got was permission denied fwrite (textfiel) on line #
Is Username and Password to the FTP where i store all the file needed in this case? If so where do i insert them?
If not please show me how. Please be specific, because i'm new to php.

No you just need to set the attributes of the text file to 777 or prob 666 will do it
